In my professional and personal life, being of service is the core of everything I do.
I was always driven when it came to my career. (As a 10-year-old, I negotiated an hourly wage with my dad to manage his company billing.) I strategically selected a first job out of college (after a quick summer stint as a bartender) that provided an upward professional trajectory. I learned very early on as a sales assistant at a high-profile magazine that the most valued individuals were the revenue generators. I was fortunate to have access to the most rigorous sales training, and I learned to perform under high pressure situations.

Being committed to education, I returned to school at night while working full time to earn my MBA in Marketing and Communications & Media Management. The little free time that I had left was spent playing volleyball. During summer months, sand poured out of my textbooks every time I cracked them open!
Although a true New Yorker, (I still have season tickets to the NY Yankees), I made the decision, in 1998, to move to California. Working in the entertainment industry had always been an interest of mine. And experiencing another part of the country was appealing.
Living in California, I transitioned to the entertainment sector of publishing as a Senior Account Manager and ultimately a Director at the industry powerhouse, Variety. After four years, I was recruited to work as a Director of Sales & Marketing at a theatrical agency that designed key art for TV and movie studios. I was charged with bringing in new business, promotions, account management, and acting as a liaison between artists and clients. All of these experiences provided me a canvas to further hone my sales and marketing skills.
Through all of these positions, I was wholeheartedly committed to unwavering client satisfaction. I always saw myself, first and foremost, as an advocate for my clients rather than merely a salesperson for a corporation; I became my clients’ partner. A common thread through all my positions was that I was singled out for exemplary client service. My clients often went out of their way to recognize the care and devotion I afforded them.

California presented me another gift. Being far from home, I was lucky to find a group of friends that truly became family. I cherish these friendships. I lost a few key people early in my life. And in recent years, I prematurely lost both my parents. Life is fragile and I’m committed to spending my time in ways that truly matter. Ultimately, I made the conscious decision that my acts of service in my professional life should carry more import. My professional skill set, my goal to build something for myself, and my desire to help people led me to real estate.
Real estate gave me the opportunity to apply my strengths, my training, and my passion. I enjoy the analytical components of the job as much as the marketing and client care. And most importantly it allows me to bring value to people’s lives.
Outside of my career, my loves include animals -- anyone who knows me or who has received my holiday cards will tell you this; children, the environment; and the people in my lives. When I’m not working, I’m playing beach volleyball, spending time with friends or hanging with my four-legged kids (current count is 3 dogs and 2 cats). Being of service is always a priority. I have volunteered on a weekly basis for more than 20 years with children experiencing homelessness. I’ve had the honor of watching many of them grow up, attend college, and start careers and families, breaking the cycle.
As a REALTOR® for 19 years, I’m honored to serve my clients while fostering lasting relationships that extend well past any transaction. And through multiple annual events, I have enjoyed giving back and creating community. One of my most cherished parts of my job is to truly get to know people and enrich their lives.
As a daughter of a scientific father and a well-read, emotionally intelligent mother, I have a rare ability to balance an analytical approach with a deft understanding of human nature and emotions. I present facts and analyze situations, helping my clients understand their options. I truly listen to my clients, understand their motivations, and help them work through challenges. Real estate is often an emotional journey. I pride myself on easing stress, managing hurdles, and ensuring my clients feel cared for throughout the process.
I strive to exceed my clients’ expectations. I fiercely protect my clients’ interests; my clients’ goals are my goals. I make the experience enjoyable by bringing humor and humanity to our time together. For me, it’s about people, not just properties.
Best Regards,
