I met Amy over a year ago at a chance meeting and she has been extremely helpful and actively engaged in helping us during our transition to the west coast. As good as they get, Amy is the consummate professional and an expert in the SouthBay market with a clear focus on what's best for our family. Five Stars without hesitation.

Amy Cimetta epitomizes professionalism, and is the kind of realtor everyone hopes to have. She is knowledgable and kind; she never pressures buyers but candidly lays out the pros and cons of each area and home, and is a true pleasure to work with. Incredibly responsive and knowledgeably -- Amy is at the top of her game.

We have used Amy for two house purchases and two sales, so we have a lot of experience with her. And she is consistently fantastic. We are not the easiest people to deal with on real estate transactions, and the latest one has had its share of problems and distractions. Some were serious and some were silly. But despite all of the ups and downs, Amy kept a level head, listened to our concerns, and found a way to keep the deals moving forward. She is simply tremendous.

Amy was wonderful. I highly recommend her. I am from the east coast. Flew in to LA area to purchase a home. I saw a home on Trulia monday morning that at liked. Called Amy at 9 am that morning. She answered her phone (not to be taken for granted in dealing with realtors in the LA area). We saw the house at 11:30. By 4 we submitted a contract for the home. Amy was wonderful throughout the whole process. I highly recommend her.

We sought out Amy after meeting her at open house ,months prior to finding the house we wanted ( and meeting many realtors along the way) .
She stood out as organized , non pressure , very informed , concise and had a sense of humor for good measure . We kept her card called her ,and feel in retrospect, incredibly lucky we did .She was very available , responsive and shared her expertise throughout both negotiations in a multiple bid deal and in every phase of the back and forth . I'd hire her again in a minute and highly recommend Amy. She is solid ,on task and helpful in guiding us . She is the whole package of bright , working for your best interest , and very skilled in what she does so efficiently .

Amy was amazing. When I met her (I was taking my son for a walk in his buggy) she was so friendly and non-pushy (as so many other real estate agents tend to be). I was impressed by her honesty and her intellect. She took us to many homes and was respectful of our requirements and wish list. After looking at many homes over a long period of time, we found the home we were holding out for. She negotiated the deal and the sellers accepted our offer with no counteroffer. Significantly, she never tried to show us a house over our stated budget. Guess who was one of our guests at our first Thanksgiving dinner - that's right, Amy and she has become a close family friend.

In the sea of agents that cover the South Bay, we were so fortunate to find Amy. She recently helped us sell rental property. From the beginning, Amy was extremely helpful by educating us on our options and the market. The pricing strategy she implemented materialized just as designed. The offer we received a day after it was listed was well above the comps. Amy did an amazing job working with the appraiser to ensure he was aware of all the unique features of the property, which helped to justify the selling price. Most importantly, Amy always had immediate follow through and was excellent communicating throughout the process. We would recommend Amy to everyone!

Amy was an invaluable assest in our search for our first home. We decided to move from the Mid Wilshire district in LA to the South Bay and Amy was a tremendous help as we searched for a home to purchase. Aside from the normal duties you expect from a real estate agent, Amy was there with us every single step of the way. She gave us advice on shopping for the best interest rate, and even introduced us to a few bankers as we shopped around for the best rate. Amy gave us a lot of valuable information when it came to the negotiating and was with us every step of the way. She went so far as to call the city of Redondo Beach to inquire about a renovation we had discussed before we had even made an offer on the property.
Buying a house can be a stressful situation but we are convinced that with Amy's help that process was less stressful and much more manageable. We had a great experience with Amy and look forward to referring a lot of business her way.

Hi Amy, My sincerest apologies for putting this email off for so very long. I have been traveling back to the east coast the past few weeks and procrastination got the best of me. It is never a good idea to put off telling someone how great they are and how much I appreciate the hard work, professionalism and absolutely fantastic job you did in closing the deal on my beautiful new home. When we first met I knew there was something magical and special about you. The attention you showered on me from the moment I walked through the door convinced me that having you in my corner was the best choice to achieving my goals. You worked at a feverish pace to satisfy my needs. Your flexibility, creativity, and patience were a perfect blend to my demanding ways and were key in finding this fabulous home. Amy you are the best! I have since referred several of my friends and co-workers to call you when they are ready to take that plunge into home ownership. Continue the great work and wonderful customer support. All the best to you in your future endeavors and I look forward to having you over as a house guest in the near future.

Hiring Amy to sell our house was an excellent decision. We strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a real estate agent that will work tirelessly to get them the best deal possible. She is honest and easygoing, and working with her is a pleasure.
We recently found out we had to move out of state on short notice and immediately started looking for an agent we were comfortable with. Amy was hosting an open house on our street, and it was quickly evident that she was a great communicator who understood the local market and was eager to help. She stopped by after the open house, looked over the property and told us about recent similar sales in our neighborhood. The next day she returned with printed comps and recommended some inexpensive upgrades that would yield a good return based on these sales. We took her advice and ended up in a multiple offer situation that Amy managed skillfully, getting us substantially more money for our house than we expected with less time and headache than we anticipated. After the sale, she handled every detail of the transaction through the close of escrow in what turned out to be a surprisingly smooth and pleasant process. We were extremely pleased with every aspect of Amy's service.

I wanted to let those at RE/MAX Execs know what a pleasure it was to have Amy Cimetta represent us in the selling of our home on Plant Avenue in Redondo Beach. I have never written a testimonial before, but in this case it is so well deserved that I wanted Amy to be recognized for her outstanding service. I was a partial owner of a jointly owned property that we bought during the end of the hot real estate market of 2004. After a large investment of time and money into renovations, we had experienced the universal decline of real estate in our area. This left us with an interest-only loan that was due to reset to a very high and adjustable interest rate, and the unfortunate situation where refinancing was not an option due to our declining home value, lack of cash and tighter lending standards. We truly felt that we were out of options until we began working with Amy. Not only is Amy an astute real estate agent, her real value is in her interpersonal skills and true desire to help her clients. Other agents were trying to tell us that our home was worth unrealistic values so that we would simply sign a contract and discover the disappointment of the situation once we were obligated to continue to work with them. With Amy, she spent the time upfront to give us her honest, true assessment without the high pressure sales pitch employed by other agents. We went over the financial situation together in detail, and were able to put together a plan that made financial sense to all of us. Amy was truly willing to help us with anything or answer any questions we had, and did not ever make me feel that I was “calling at a bad time”. She always had the time to listen, and even helped us with staging our home, lending us some home furnishings as well! Truly she went above and beyond our greatest expectations, and her preparation and hard work were realized when we had a buyer interested in putting in an offer during our broker’s open house, before we had even officially made it available to the public! Our house was in escrow so quickly that I had not even made plans for where I was moving to yet. As a home seller knows, it is incredibly arduous and stressful to keep your home in tip top shape for an extended period of time, so the quick sale was nothing short of a blessing. Thank you, Amy for your outstanding service. I know that we could not have done this without you!

It took me and my husband sixteen months to find our dream home. Amy patiently guided us through the process with a …read morepositive and hopeful attitude. She was able to help us see not just the structure on a lot, but what the potential could be. Amy was always available to meet us at properties and was flexible with our busy schedules. As first time buyers, we were filled with lots of emotion. The closing process produced much anxiety and Amy was always available to talk to us and help ease our minds. Amy is a very knowledgeable and experienced professional. If you are buying a home, Amy is the Realtor to choose.

I have worked with Amy Cimetta for more than four years, providing financing for her clients in their real estate transactions. In over 20 years as a mortgage originator, I have rarely come across a Realtor with such knowledge, passion, and caring about her business and her clients. Amy makes my job easier. She keeps the transactions running smoothly with her efficient project management skills, and her ability to keep her clients focused, invested and motivated. Her deals close on time or early with few problems because she adheres to deadlines and anticipates issues, finding solutions before a transaction can be derailed. The end result is an extremely positive client experience which has ultimately led to repeat business for myself and Wells Fargo. I recommend Amy emphatically. Her clients can always count on her expertise before, during and after the transaction. She is a world class Realtor.

My situation looked dire... then I found Amy! What a lifesaver she turned out to be. I had been haggling with the bank for months. They were putting me threw the ringer with all of their "red tape". It had gotten to the point that I had less than a month before my condo was going to be up for auction and foreclosed on. Amy worked through all of the endless paperwork that the bank poured out and I was able to short sale my condo. I literally received an offer the very same day that she advertised it for me. Anyone who has ever been through a short sale process, knows how horrendous and overwhelming it all can be. She went above and beyond in her efforts. I would literally receive emails from her at like 3am, she even worked while she was supposed to be on vacation!!! Amy is very knowledgeable and treats every property as if it were her own. She is NOT one of those agents that just looks for the quick sale and commission. She takes the time to understand her clients and strives to deliver exactly what they want. I would tell ANYONE who needs an honest, reliable, trustworthy and very smart agent to definitely hire her... THERE IS NO ONE BETTER!
Thank you Ms. Cimetta for all you have done for my family and I. I look forward to working with you in the years to come!

At the end of 2011, it became clear to me that my first house was no longer a sound financial investment. This was distressing news made much easier with the help of Amy Cimetta who remained a bright light through this ordeal.
Throughout the entire process, from learning the differences between short sale and foreclosure to the closing, Amy was prepared, informed and responsive. Amy's intelligence and social skills were obvious assets. Amy was gracious and prompt in all of her communications, both with me and with lenders, buyers and workers. She defines professionalism.
If you're looking to work with someone who is extremely able, intelligent, dependable and compassionate, hire Amy. Through months of negotiations, she kept me informed and served as a wonderful advocate. It gave me tremendous peace of mind to have her on my side. I would work with her again in a heartbeat.

Amy Cimetta is THEE BEST around… Hands Down! Not only does she put in work for her clients, she builds a relationship with them and gets to know their wants, needs, likes and dislikes. She is very personable and knowledgeable. Being that this was my first purchase, I found the process to be extremely tedious and time consuming. Amy went above and beyond the call of duty for us. Without her, I do not know that we would have made it all the through the process. I could not have asked for a better agent. Any questions, concerns, doubts, etc., we may have had, Amy always had an answer, resolution and/or an honest answer/opinion. If at any time we became frustrated, Amy was right there to listen, advise and “talk us off the ledge.” There was never a point where I felt as if she attempted to just “sell us a house.” With every property we looked at (and there were plenty), we never felt as if she was attempting to just put us in a house for the “sell.” Amy wanted us to be sure we Loved the house and due to the relationship we were able to build with her, she could at times determine if we really loved a house or were “trying” to love it. She went above and beyond to ensure the process went as smoothly as possibly. When we ran into any “hiccups” they most definitely were not on Amy’s behalf and she made sure to smooth them out in an expedient and professional manner. We look forward to getting fully settled in our new home and having Amy over for dinner. After all of her hard work, that is the Least we can do for her. Should we ever find ourselves wanting to sell our house and/or buy another, there is no doubt as to who our agent will be… AMY CIMETTA! THANK YOU SO MUCH, AMY!

Dear Amy,
Please forgive our delay in not writing to you sooner to tell you how much you have meant to our family. You’ve played such an integral part in our family getting into our first home. We’ve been so very busy over the last few months in putting the finishing touches to our new home and we’ll probably never be completely finished. Our search for a home in the San Pedro area started at least two years ago with you and from the beginning you’ve been so dedicated, professional and driven in finding us exactly what we were looking for in a home. We’d used a few Realtors over the years that were not even close to your caliber of professionalism or possessed your commitment in follow through with listing agents or banks.
Even though we really had a strong connection with this house, you still made yourself available to show us other houses that came up on the market [during the short sale process]. You continually followed up with all persons involved in the sale and when you were unsure of how the VA financing/process worked you would research it and found out on your own. We’ve now made this house or home; our children have chosen their colors, painted their individual rooms and infused them with their own character and now feel very comfortable and connected to the home. My wife and I also have been adding our own accents and now we feel it’s a more accurate expression of both of us.
We truly wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for all the time and effort you had put into finding us our home and in the process becoming a really good friend to us as well. Please let us know if there ever is anything we can do for you.
Thank you.
Sincerely, Bruce & Jeannette W.

I have bought and sold many houses and Amy is the best agent I’ve ever had. She is knowledgeable, pleasant and diligent. Her attention to detail is superb.
I am a commercial real estate attorney and I’ve negotiated and sold hundreds of millions of dollars in commercial real estate. Realizing that the residential market is different, I held myself back and let Amy do her job. I was impressed!
Amy accommodated every one of my requests. She walked me through comparable houses on the market before we set the listing price on my rental house. She helped me pick out paint, carpet and stain for the wood floors.
In a depressed market, Amy ‘s strategy to set up a bidding competition among buyers seemed optimistic. However, we sold the house in three days at $15,000 above asking price with four back-up offers also above asking price. I studied the comparable prices carefully before setting the purchase price and I don’t think the original price was too low. In fact, I was worried that an appraisal wouldn’t support the buyer’s offer price. Amy’s presentation of my house and her negotiation with other agents resulted in buyers raising their offers and competing for the house. She worked carefully with the appraiser to justify the contract price and I was pleasantly surprised when she succeeded. I couldn’t have done a better job.
Amy was superb on follow-up. She dogged the title company to write around a title exception. Without my asking, she obtained discounts on termite, title and escrow services. When we had regulatory problems tenting the house, she made numerous calls to the termite company, the gas company and others to find the best course of action. She stayed in constant contact with the buyer’s lender so we weren’t surprised by any hiccups during a closing of less than 30 days. After closing, I objected to a $38 charge from the title company and Amy obtained a refund for me (a matter of principle – not money).
Many agents will tell you what you want to hear just to get the listing. Amy is not one of those. She is straight forward, honest and reliable. Pick her and you’ll be happy you did!
